Critter's training sessions are reward-based, with emphasis placed on making the training fun for both you and your pet.

Training in the home provides a nurturing atmosphere without the stresses and distractions of a traditional "obedience class" setting.

You as the owner plays the most vital role in this learning process. Correct and consistent commands, body language, hand signals, and voice control are all critical to your success, and your dog's. In addition, it is imperative that we keep training consistent.

Basic Obedience is a necessity, for it lays the foundation for all behavior to follow. Critter's Basic Training can include: sit, down, come, stand, stay, leave it, drop it, off, heel

Outside of our "classes", it will also be important for you to provide early and continuing socialization opportunities for your dog, as these will play the biggest part in his/her success with dog-to-dog interaction.
